Wisemonk Launches TalentScout for AI-Powered Hiring in India

Wisemonk Launches TalentScout for AI-Powered Hiring in India

Wisemonk has launched TalentScout, an AI-native hiring product built for global companies hiring in India.

Employers post a role for free, and Mira AI scores every applicant against a scorecard the employer writes.

Wisemonk can then act as the legal employer for whoever they hire. TalentScout is live now.

The launch brings together three things global employers have had to solve separately.

Finding candidates in India is the straightforward part. Screening them at volume, interviewing across time zones, and employing them lawfully without an Indian entity have typically needed three different vendors.

TalentScout brings all three together in one place.

How TalentScout Handles a Role, Stage by Stage

A role moves through four stages, all handled inside the same product:

  • Post: A role goes live free of charge, reaches Wisemonk's talent community, and includes a salary band upfront. Mira AI drafts the job description and the scorecard from a plain sentence describing the role.
  • Screen: Every applicant is scored against that scorecard the moment the application arrives, and returned as a ranked list with a match percentage and the reasoning behind it.
  • Interview: Scheduling, recording, and AI interview notes run inside the product, with feedback shared across the hiring team.
  • Decide: Stages, recruiter notes, and team scorecards sit in one thread, giving a single view of the pipeline.

Roles reach a talent community of more than 40,000 candidates, each screened and salary-benchmarked. Roles that reach the community directly usually see applications the same day.

Candidates arriving from an employer's own careers page, a referral, or another job board are scored against the same scorecard.

Employers can also export shortlisted candidates into an existing applicant tracking system, so TalentScout fits alongside the tools they already run.

How Mira AI Scores, and What It Leaves to the Employer

Mira AI scores against what the employer wrote rather than a generic model of a good candidate. Three design choices define how it works, and Wisemonk is putting them forward as the heart of the launch:

  • Hiring decisions stay with you: Scores rank and inform, and a candidate leaves the pipeline only when the employer says so. The one exception is auto-reject for candidates who stop responding, which the employer switches on.
  • Every score shows its working: Each score carries the sentences that produced it, including the low ones, so a hiring manager can confirm or overrule it on the spot.
  • A recruiter reviews alongside the AI: On recruiter-assisted roles, a recruiter in India reviews the shortlist and speaks to every candidate the employer interviews.

Employment Options, and Two India Timelines to Plan For

The employment decision follows the hiring decision, and both sit inside the same product.

At offer stage, a company can employ the person on its own Indian entity, or ask Wisemonk to act as Employer of Record.

In that arrangement Wisemonk holds the employment contract, runs payroll, and handles provident fund, gratuity, ESI, and income tax withholding, while the company directs the work day to day.

India's IT services sector crossed $315 billion in FY2026, and that depth is a large part of why global employers keep returning to the market.

Two India-specific factors shape how quickly a role fills, and TalentScout surfaces both up front.

The first is salary. Bands are checked against Wisemonk payroll data before the role goes live, so employers know their offer is competitive from day one.

The second is notice periods. Confirmed employees in India commonly serve 30 to 90 days, and senior roles are often a full 90, with the clock starting when the candidate resigns. Planning start dates around that keeps timelines realistic.

Employers weighing their own entity against an EOR can read how an EOR arrangement works when they reach that point.

What TalentScout Costs

TalentScout is live and free through an employer's first several hires. Posting roles, receiving applications, and running the full product stay free.

Heavier AI screening, video recording, and scheduling run on usage credits after that, with no subscription and no per-seat fees.

Employers who want hands-on sourcing can add a recruiter-assisted tier, charged on a contingent basis and paid on joining.

Wisemonk's Employer of Record service starts at $99 per employee per month.
