What the same team costs in India
Price a team against real US or UK employer cost, role by role, and see how the India number is built. Published pay on both sides, your own payroll if you have it.
Optional. Enter what one person in this role actually costs you today, fully loaded. Any role you fill in switches that row off the published benchmark.
Check this assumption first
The fee assumption is doing too much work for a team this senior
Average India gross here is about $28,414 a year, which is a senior mix. The $99 in this model is where Wisemonk’s EOR pricing starts, not a flat rate, and larger or enterprise-scale engagements are quoted individually. Put in the figure you have actually been quoted before you take these numbers anywhere. A plan built on a starting price is a plan built on the best case.

Test this against a real quote
A benchmark gets you a business case. A quote gets you a plan: the fee band for your salary levels, statutory load on your actual pay structure, and a start date you can commit to.
Nothing to buy on these inputs
On what you have entered, we do not think a Wisemonk pitch is the useful next step. The comparison above is yours to keep. Change the inputs, whether that is headcount, seniority or a real fee quote, and the read will change with them.
Where every number comes from
- US employer contributions, computed. Social Security at 6.2% up to the annual wage base of $184,500, the 2026 figure — re-check it each January. Medicare at 1.45% with no cap. Unemployment at about 1%, an estimate. Benefits at $9,000 per person a year, also an estimate you can change.
- UK employer contributions, computed. Employer Class 1 NI at 15% above the £5,000 secondary threshold, held to at least 2030/31. Pension auto enrolment at 3% of qualifying earnings, £6,240 to £50,270.
- India statutory load. Wisemonk publishes 15% to 22% for EPF, ESI and gratuity. This model defaults to the middle of that band rather than the favourable end, and you can change it.
- EOR fee. Wisemonk publishes a starting price of $99 per employee a month. That is a floor rather than a flat rate, and there is no published upper figure, so this model does not guess one. Enter your own quote in the assumptions if you have it.
- Exchange rates. USD to INR at ₹95.1, GBP to USD at 1.36, spot as of 2026-09-09.
- What this leaves out. Equity and bonus, which are material in US technology pay and sit outside these base wage medians, so the US column is if anything understated. Also recruitment, equipment, office, severance, management overhead and the ramp cost of moving work. This compares employment cost only.
