**Project Manager – India Operations**

**Location:** Rajkot, Gujarat preferred; other locations in Gujarat or Maharashtra considered **Reports to:** Project Management team, Israel headquarters **Employment type:** Full-time

**About the Company: ** Anthony Roth & Sons Ltd. (founded 1984, ISO 9001:2015 certified) supplies precision mechanical parts made to customer drawings. Our range covers CNC machining, castings, forgings, sheet metal, MIM, injection moulding and sub-assemblies. We source these from manufacturing partners in China and India for industrial customers in Israel and internationally. Our India operations are growing, and this role becomes our local point of contact for customers and suppliers.

**Role Overview:** You will be the India-side contact for our customers on India-sourced projects. You will also drive the RFQ and order process with Indian suppliers, from the first quotation to a complete, documented shipment.

**Key responsibilities: ** **Customer communication: **

• Act as a day-to-day contact for customers on India projects, covering technical queries, status updates and schedule changes.
• Issue regular written status reports and flag risks early.

**RFQs and quotations:**

• Send RFQ packages to Indian suppliers and chase quotations until they arrive on time.
• Check each quote is complete, including material, process, tooling cost and ownership, lead times, and certifications.
• Prepare quote comparisons for the Israel team.
• Verify at RFQ stage whether each supplier is a manufacturer or a trader and confirm where each part will actually be made.
• Identify and qualify new suppliers through IndiaMART, industry directories and site visits.

**Order execution: **

• Follow up purchase orders, production schedules and deliveries, and escalate delays before they become late shipments.
• Work with our QC engineer on inspections, first-article reports, nonconformities and supplier 8D/corrective actions.
• Make sure the documentation pack is complete before anything ships: CoC, material certificates, coating/plating CoC and inspection reports.
• Keep project status up to date in our work-management system (Monday.com).

**Confidentiality: **

• Handle customer drawings under strict confidentiality and remove customer-identifying information before sharing with suppliers.

**Requirements: **

• Degree in Mechanical, Production or Industrial Engineering. A diploma with strong

experience will also be considered.

• 3–6 years in project management, sourcing, supplier development or sales

engineering in precision mechanical manufacturing.

• Fluent reading of engineering drawings, including GD&T, tolerances, surface finish,

and material, heat-treatment and coating specifications.

• Preferred some Practical knowledge of machining, casting, forging and

sheet-metal processes, or ability for self-learning.

• Preferred Existing knowledge of the supplier base in Gujarat and/or Maharashtra.
• Excellent written and spoken English. Gujarati and/or Hindi required; Marathi an

advantage.

• Strong Excel and email skills; comfortable with ERP and online work-management

tools.

• Willing to travel to supplier sites regularly.

**Advantages: **

• Experience with international customers, especially Israeli or European.
• Exposure to ISO 9001, FAI/PPAP, or aerospace/defence quality requirements.
• Familiarity with export documentation.

**Personal Qualities: **

• Persistent in follow-up; does not let a quotation or delivery go quiet.
• Direct communicator who raises problems early.
• Organized and able to work independently across time zones.

**Working Hours:** Indian working hours, with some flexibility to overlap with the Israel team. Israel works Sunday - Thursday, roughly 2.5 - 3.5 hours behind IST.
