The Role

You will own the technical and quality side of valve projects run out of the India office- from reviewing customer specifications and drawings, through supplier and manufacturing quality oversight, to the documentation packages that ship with every order.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage valve projects end-to-end: review client specifications, datasheets and drawings; track scope, timelines and technical

deliverables.

2. Perform QA/QC activities on industrial valves — inspection planning, material and dimensional verification, witness and hold points, testing (hydrostatic, seat leakage, functional) and non-conformance handling.

3. Prepare and maintain technical documentation: MTCs, ITPs, QAP, test reports,GA drawings, datasheets, IOM manuals and final data books.

4. Liaise with Indian suppliers, fabricators and foundries on technical clarifications, quality issues and corrective actions.

5. Interface with the Spain-based engineering and commercial teams; translate customer requirements into clear internal technical instructions.

6. Support compliance with applicable standards (API, ANSI/ASME, EN/DIN, ISO)

Requirements

1. B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (or Production/Industrial Engineering).

2. 4–7 years of experience with industrial valves —manufacturing, QA/QC, design or project engineering. This is a mandatory, non negotiable requirement.

3. Working knowledge of valve types (butterfly, gate, ball, check, control) and their construction, materials and testing.

4. Demonstrated experience producing technical documentation packages for industrial or export customers.

5. Strong spoken and written English— this role communicates daily with a European team; fluency is a hard requirement.

6. Comfortable reading engineering drawings and applying GD&T.
